That sounds great. It's the customer opinion that matters so I could use as much input as possible.

the only thing i dont like like about most lifts is that when your sitting next to another snowboarder its really easy to hit your boards together. so anyway to prevent that would be good

I don't like that my knee with the foot on the board always hurts from riding them and I have no idea why.

How do you improve on a chair? The good ones have footrests.

It's like trying to reinvent the wheel.

Knee hurts? No footrest? Slip your free boot under your binding's (super dull) heelcup.

To fully accommodate snowboarders, you need a chair made for 3 people (3 skiers or 2 snowboarders), and footrests.

The crappy lifts I was always on (just remembered I won't EVER be back there for snowboarding again now that I am in Oregon ) didn't have anything on them. I used to rest my board on the top of my free boot just to take the weight off. I have bad knees though, so it was probably just me.

I'd love to see a redesign in chair lifts. Seems like most of them are a couple decades old anyways.

There is only one chairlift that matters. It is called "The Freezer" and any other lift, is just that...any other lift!!!

It combines the excitement of snowboarding/skiing, compact high velocity winds, freezing temps and a wind chill mixed in with lake effect type snow.

I could see someone attempting to put a windshield type blocker on that thing. The wind would rip that chair right off the cable and slam it into the side of a rock!

im looking into rotating seats that can accomodate both boarders and skiiers. it is infact much different from the wheel.

Yeah I also have bad knees, and towards the end of a session lettin my board hang is a killer. But I personally don't think they can be designed any better with out creating other flaws, like getting off the lift.
