Hey, just wanted to see what you guys use for producing movies. Right now, I'm running on a mac lappy, with a Pentax Optio S4... which is horrible for video.

My friend and I are looking to chip on a cheap video camera, that has a high resolution capturing rate. Or, post up about your setup, movies you've made, etc. etc.

im using a hitachi HDD/DVD camcorder. its kindof nice because i can record on an 8 GB hard or a mini dvd recorder. its got pretty nice resolution but it is the biggest pain in the ass to get video onto my macbook. because its not really compatible with macs. so i have to import video into my old windows computer, transfer it to my mac, then convert it into a format the mac can understand.
but anyway heres my latest video and i will keep making more as i get new footage.

ive got a dell vostro, a panasonic gs320 which is a very inexpensive 3ccd camcorder(and i get just as good if not better shots then my friends vx...)and adobe premier pro cs3.

check for sales on b and h. i got my gs for 320

and heres some footage i shot with it, no color correction on it.
