So has there been any reviews for the 2014 (technically 2013) stuff? I saw AngrySnowboarder posted a bunch of board reviews but I want to see reviews on the new Nike boots, the new Now bindings, etc. There was another snow forum that had a lot of stuff but for some reason I can't find it again (the forum that is). I tried searching the 2014 thread because I remember a link being there and found nada. I realize it might be early in the season just trying to get my stoke up.
I mentioned it in another thread, but Boots here arn't super easy to find. No one carries Nike, I'd rather have an idea what I'm looking for before I spend time trying to track em down. But I also want to see what's up with bindings, the new Anon goggles, etc.
No one respectable reviews boots. There's a good reason for that. What some can do is give you insight into construction. For instance, there is cardboard in Nike's liners in at least the Force 1 and Vapen. Enjoy that. Ride's Phytop does in fact increase shell life, as does K2's Endo. No one uses a great stock footbed. As I can tell thus far Adidas is not using a heat moldable liner. Burton's and Flow's speedlace is really the only ones I've had experience with that work well.
And now pretty much forget all that cause the only thing that matters with boots is fit. If it does not fit it's construction does not matter.
Well that's what I wanted to know. Nike has new models out, and speedlace and boa. I want to know if they work okay, are those the only changes in the boots, cardboard liners still? etc.
We talking the M2s yeah? Or is it M1? Whatever the new one is. I'm pretty hyped for them I hope the added magnet points keep the goggles in place better.
Their T-Rice ad said Remind/DC insole collaboration, which I suspected might not have been a full blown insole but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I should know better.
I got my salomons malamutes the other day, by contrast to my old Vans, it feels like I'm walking on clouds instead if having my feet in two buckets.
