I dedicate this thread to the beef we sometimes get into. Rather then destroy a thread that has a purpose we can invite the fight to this thread and let the gloves come off.

I need help from others to set some kind of guild lines.

I am not referring to arguments over equipment or opinions but when the argument takes a nasty turn we can invite the other or others to come here a duke it out and with most fights at the end of it, after you've got the shit off of you're chest both sides can find a middle ground and feel better at the end of the day rather then getting threads closed and moving the fight to another helpless victim...

If this is a dumb idea then I apologize and feel free to let me know...

Good luck to all
Your friend,
M2M

M2M I'm not on board with this, a space to just come and continue another thread over calling out someone of being called out.

I have read and missed much of the drama that has become the forum. If it doen't interest me I don't read it. If members are bashing it out, no biggie. This has happened since message boards have been around and the necessity of a special thread, not needed.

Nothing to see here folks move along

From a simple systems analysis POV this is unlikely to work. People don't "decide" to get into a fight the way they decide to have a game of chess. I just got this image... "Pip pip old chap, I must disagree. Shall we repair to the fighting lounge to continue this?" "Indubitably, my good man. And such a good day to engage in some mild chicanery". "After you". "No I insist. After you".

Fights have a context, and the context is the thread they're in. Not to mention that sometimes a resolution comes out of the flames.

Your heart's in the right place, but I don't see this taking off. I'm not going to delete it, but I'm also not going to change forum policies. BA will continue to flame, poutanen will continue to drool, chomps will continue to use too many smileys, and the rest of you will continue to be entertained. That is an order. :D

Hahaha. I literally got the mental image of two old men with huge mustaches squaring off.

I figured I'd give it a shot. Didn't really know if it made sense but I see what your saying...

Johnston's canyon is a fun little hike. If you want something more serious do the Lake Agnes tea house hike... And if you want something sadistic the hike beside the Banff upper hot springs is 5km of 12% grade :)

Did them all this summer and we're not in particularly good shape... Lol

Still can't believe with all that money they can't get the character animations to actually look somewhat believable in touch to the voice over dialogue... rather that the old Kung Fu movie effect they're running. But then again, I don't play vid'ya games.

Like I said, I don't play games, but I have seen games that were way better for it... and the shots in the TV ads look about as realistic speech-animation wise as games from 10+ years ago. The amount of money they made off the game is friggin' unreal. They could afford it...

My cousin used to make some really high end games, did a lot of modeling and animation. I should ask him about it sometime.
