Tokyo Dome,Japan (December 8-9 2007) - Nissan X-Trial Jam will host it's 8th consecutive edition of the event in the Tokyo Dome. Nippon Television and Nissan held a very well visited press conference in an artificial Snow Dome near Tokyo to launch this season's event, one of only Six TTR SIX(6) events world wide.
Travis Rice flew to Japan for the Press Conference and took 3 runs in his sneakers on a 10-year old Jamie Lynn Libtech Snowboard in the indoor Snowpark, to confirm his presence in December. Travis stated that there was a big change in the riderslist and he is thrilled to have new young riders joining X-Trail Jam.
Organizers of the Nissan X-Trail Jam also announced Terje Haakonsen's comback to the event after his 9.8 m World Record backside 360 at last season's Arctic Challenge.
Reto Lamm announced some changes on the ramp construction. "Following last season TTR World Snowboard Tour it was obvious that the level of riding has improved dramatically in both formats, Quarterpipe and Big Air. Therefore, the ramp needed some adaptation in size!" A Top 3 Super Final has been added to the existing 3 Jamsession Format to give the Quarterpipe Contest its final peak.
Hidemi Arasaki announced Zeebra as live music act for this Years Nissan X-Trail Jam. Zeebra is the most famous hip-hop artist in Japan and released his newest album on October 16th.
Travis took control over the Press Conference and organized a sled race on event banners with 20 press people. The team Travis Rice passed the finishing line as expected followed by the producer of the Nissan X-Trail Jam in a close second place.
