Sitting here in Manhattan I have to believe a week+ of 45 degree temps, and now rain, is trashing Mount Snow.

If any locals have any insight... we're due up there 19 -22 March. Can't change that, house is paid for, but is it worth buying my three-day ticket in advance? I'm riding greens and blues, no interest (or enough skill) for blacks or the parks.

Or just hangout in the hot tub?

Yes, there will be snow. As long as it's warm when your are there, you're all set. Spring conditions aren't powder but they beat ice any day!

Hit Snow last weekend...VT got a shitload of snow the previous week, adding a lot to Snow's base. Even given the weather we've had in the last few days, they'll still have plenty of snow left.

HOWEVER...they're looking at rain this weekend, and mid-upper 40s. We're going to Mt. Sunapee...no rain in the forecast, just cloudy. If you're set on Mt. Snow, though, and don't mind a chance of wet, they'll have lots of snow.

The storm is gonna stay mostly south. No more than 30% chance of rain tomorrow at Sunapee, 10% for early in the day.

If I don't go, I'll sit around the house on my ass. If I do go, what's the worst that could happen? I get a little wet. 10-30%, I'll take those odds for a $29 lift ticket.

It looks like they've gotten around 10 inches since friday but it looks like it's high 40's all week so that will melt alot of it away. I'm heading up there too next weekend.

just got in the door from a day trip to mt snow. tons of snow still there, no bare spots, freshies to be had in the trees still. so legit.
