My wife and I just started riding this year. We are looking to do a trip out west somewhere. We are from MN and want to try the 'real' deal.

There are a lot of options out there... Summit County, Salt Lake City area, Whistler, Tahoe, etc.

I am wondering if someone can provide some advice on what resorts would typically still have good conditions the last weekend of March/first week of April. We are just getting started so would be sticking to the green/blue groomers. I am leaning towards Whistler since it is further north and, at least logically in my mind, would have the best conditions.

I realize it's hard to know what the conditions will be three months from now but if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated!
