You might want to consider the Pacific Northwest. Portland, Or and Seattle, Wa are both very easy to get to airports for international flights and are short drives away from very good snow in the spring. I live in Portland and work on Mt. Hood. The Cascade Mountain Range has record snowpack this year and you will have great snow in April. Mt. Hood Meadows, where I work will be fully operational in April and the weather has usually tamed down a little giving you a good chance for bluebird days on spring corn snow. Timberline Lodge, also on Mt. Hood will have epic conditions in April and Palmer Glacier is usually up an running by then, but this year, the lift may not be dug out by then due to the record snow. At night, Ski Bowl will be there for your night riding pleasure and spring nights at Ski Bowl are super fun.
If Seattle is your choice, Crystal Mountain would be the best conditions and terrain most likely unless you are up for deiving to Mt. Baker which is up north, closer to Bellingham, Wa. Whistler is of course going to be the bomb in April if you want to head to Vancouver, BC.
Utah and Colorado should also be decent, but being so much farther south, they can be done by April if it is a warm spring.
