Im quite amazed at how the kias can live out in the freezing conditions. Saw a few up at Treble Cone while i was there & also a few on the glaciers @ Franz Joseph when i did a trek there awhile back.

Nice pics keep em coming

Loved the pics of the Kiwi snowfields. I lived in oz for over four years, rode Persiher, Thredbo.. never made it to your beautiful country..... hope to remedy that before I pass to the next dimension.. cheers mate.. She'll be apples.

I am officially extremely inspired by your display. Wowsaa..

Holy shit! awesome pics mate! The depth and composition are incredible; makes me want to ride right into the picture! Thanks so much for posting these pics of your beautiful country! We all look forward to seeing some of your summer pics too, so just because the season is winding down, don`t stop. When it`s dark, and 30 below up here, it is nice to see a sunny beach with scantily clad ladies posted not to mention your great scenery!....

Doesn't take to long if you keep up a constant pace, takes an hour, just gotta watch out for the clouds, but you should consider doing it with someone who has before. I've only gone from the whakapapa side

That was actually the first time we had summited. We just waited for a day where people had headed up before us. Took us an hour and a half, it is hard something like 560 vertical meters. But the run is worth it, it was the BEST snow conditions I had experienced in NZ.

That black and green jacket is mine, its a 3CS Kruger. The thing is it's the only one in the country, thanks to personally knowing the distributor, I was able to get it. You probably wont find any left any where in the world, but just save your pennies for the 09 line. It is so unbelievably fresh, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the biggest outerwear brand by the end of 09 in the Southern Hemisphere.
