Unfortunately I am so far limited to virtual travel, but as a way to try to keep the summer stoke going as I await rafting season, I like to web travel and explore destinations to put on my wish list. I am really interested in South America. It is easier and cheaper for an American to get there than it is to get to NZ. The Andes have a lot to offer. Here is Valle Nevado Chile. It sure looks fun!
Chile kicks ass, most south American resorts follow the same setup of European resorts. Actually a lot of the were built by French companies, the hotels are Luxury to the max and snow is usually very good. It would be nice that we could a few riders from Chile and Argentina to posts pictures, instead of asking "what board do I get" and when they get the info they need they disappear and never post again, that shit pisses me off.
WOW!!! That is amazing scenery. The Andes are an amazing place. I would love to take a trip down there and tour the countries of Peru, Chile and Argentina as well as do a bit of shredding. I would love to visit the ancient ruins in Lima Peru. There is also a train that goes between Argentina and Chile that goes up over 12,000 feet at the pass.
I hear you on the one post wonders too. Sometimes it is hard to respond for you know they will never post again or even thank you for your efforts.
