Does anyone ride Big Bear Mountain consistently here? Looking for riders to meet up with maybe. Gonna be up that way alot.

As long as Bear gets some coverage goin' by say mid November I'm going up every f'in weekday until I move to CO in December.

how is bear during the week? how busy is it?

how's the crowd up there? are there a lot of people acting like @$*!@$! up there usually (compared to mt. high)?

Mt. High is too far for me so I can't really do any comparisons that way.

The weekdays are really dead... just the park rats, some retired folk, and a few gapers with the day off. We live in BroCal so you can pretty much count on finding a couple of people with piss poor attitudes no matter where you go. Just gotta ignore 'em.

its pretty fucking ridiculous on weekends with the asian tourists from orange country coming up and trying to become shawn white but other than that its a lot of fun. we had a great season last year and hopefully it will be a better one with the upcoming season. ill be there 3-4 days a week hopefully.

I'll be heading there in January. Got my tickets and will be there from Jan 5-11. Should be a great time. Do they by chance have a discount if you arrive the same day as your flight? I've heard of some resorts doing that.

i was checking out the FAQ and it seems to be light on the discounts.

anyone know how sundays are up there? might get a season pass for all days 'cept for saturday.
