Default Pat's Peak

Since we have a fair amount of New Englanders in the house...

Anyone know what Pat's Peak is like? I've developed a minor irrational obsession with the place from driving past it on the way to Sunapee, but I've never been able to convince the other people in the car that we should go there instead just because I randomly fixated on it. It looks fun from the website, but I've met exactly one person who has been there. Anyone familiar with it?

I went there once actually before i ever tried snowboarding. I was pretty good at skiing at the time, and i found most of the trails pretty easy and mellow, other than the very steep incredibly icy mogul run the chairlift goes over. The mountain wasnt too big and the chairlifts were old and uncomfy. It seems like more of a family with little kids type place i would say. For serious riding sunapee is much better IMO but it would prolly be a decent place to learn, and its definetly less crowded than sunnapee
