Aspen averages about 300" for a season. So more snow than Summit County but less than Vail, Steamboat, Winterpark, and (duh) Wolf Creek. I've gone to A$pen but only a handful of times. None of them have been in November. Conditions can range from bare to pretty dang good. When it starts to snow there, they tend to get pretty decent dumps. The other thing is that it's Aspen. There is so much to do in that area and town, that as long as the slopes are open you should have a blast. It's the best apres scene this side of Whistler. Basically if Summit and other spots in Colorado are sucking, it's probably going to be the same. If they are having a good early season then so is Aspen.
Last year was an anomoly. The snow didn't really start into December, but we didn't get lucky. It snowed pretty much every week through the end of March once it started in December. We were racking up the powder days and knockin' down. Plenty of April snow too.
