Default Best snow in CO in November??

I have a trip setup to Summit County in mid November. I'm not expecting the snow to be anything special, but which resort is typically the best for early season riding??

Wolf Creek is often 100% open by that time.

In Summit County, take your pic. It's all the same. Youre talking a 5" difference of base at most resorts in that area.

cool, thanks for your help. is wolf creek worth the travel during regular season once the rest of the colorado resorts catch up, or do they consistently have more snow?

Wolf Creek gets the most snow in Colorado. They average 450" a season I believe. Last year they might have cracked 600". They had an October where they got almost 100" of snow and opened 100% before Halloween. The place is just a snow pocket. Some of the most reliable conditions out there.

I could be wrong here, but I think they are usually a little behind summit or around the same amount. Nothing like wolf creek. Last season was a scary one, November was dry and then in December they got lucky.

Aspen averages about 300" for a season. So more snow than Summit County but less than Vail, Steamboat, Winterpark, and (duh) Wolf Creek. I've gone to A$pen but only a handful of times. None of them have been in November. Conditions can range from bare to pretty dang good. When it starts to snow there, they tend to get pretty decent dumps. The other thing is that it's Aspen. There is so much to do in that area and town, that as long as the slopes are open you should have a blast. It's the best apres scene this side of Whistler. Basically if Summit and other spots in Colorado are sucking, it's probably going to be the same. If they are having a good early season then so is Aspen.
Last year was an anomoly. The snow didn't really start into December, but we didn't get lucky. It snowed pretty much every week through the end of March once it started in December. We were racking up the powder days and knockin' down. Plenty of April snow too.
