Haha awesome. I lived in Bamma when I had an internship. Honestly if you were talking about doing a a long weekend I would go to Snowshoe. I did a long weekend at snowshoe from Birmingham. It is a long drive for sure but the terrain is way better. You might also want to look at Beech since personally I don't like sugar as much. It seems every run funnels into 1 run and can be a show in a half on a weekend.

Ended up going 2 days early (yesterday). Rode in a cotton hoodie all morning (which is very new for me). Switched to a waterproof shell when it came time to help the gf.
I'd patronize this hill more if it were closer. 3+ hours is a bit much for what you get, though. |
