Anyone have info on any ski areas opening up around the lake tahoe area on or before Nov. 12/13? Going to be in Tracy, CA for work that weekend and would love to ride if something is going to be open.

Tahoe is not famous for early openings, just doesn't coincide with the weather. Most west coast mountains typically don't open until Thanksgiving at the earliest.

Last year I was riding 3 feet of pow when they opened, but some resorts still waited a week or so later to open, it just depends on the season, but most places open the week of thanksgiving sometime.

N*, Heavenly, Boreal just turned on their snow makers. Don't know when they plan to open. I think out of those 3 Boreal is the only one with a chance of opening before the date you mentioned. Unless the sky opens and dumps....
