breckenridge early dec - Snowboarding Forum

Is breckenridge going to be decent around the weekend of dec 8th? Hope to be heading out west but the coverage doesnt look promising so far.

. and actually VT may have better conditions...dunno if its cold enough but looks like u guys are settin up a major low pressure trough. we have yet to get anything good, and nothing major is on the 2 week outlook. everything that is open in summit county is whatever they have had time to put 18 inches of manmade down on in the last month.

I have hope that we'll have some storms starting around the first of December here in Utah but who knows with this giant high pressure system moving in right now.

It doesn't seem like its really that great anywhere but the PNW, we haven't had crap here in Tahoe.

Seems pretty global.

Been keeping me eye on Nagano area in Japan. They get a little covering and it melts at the middle / lower range of the slopes. Need some more consistent cold weather as it seems to keep heating up for a couple of days.

our temps have been fine for the most part just no precip. the snowmaking operations seem to be going quite well.

It's been fucking 40 degrees during the day up here snow making isn't doing shit but spouting water. It looks great to the tourons like "oh wow they're trying" truth is we've lost more base than they've made in the last week.
