Was planning on going to Northstar & Squaw this week, but not sure the conditions warrant the 4 hour drive from the Bay Area.

You can sure bet Shaun White isn't doing runs at his "home" mountain right now.

Conditions are horrible right now, everywhere is man made groomers and park riding, although some weather blogs are starting to notice a shift in the pattern, so hopefully in the next few weeks things change, but if you not coming for another 6 weeks you have a better chance of having better conditions, shoot it's tahoe it could dump 10 feet in one week once the storms start coming in.

There's still time for the storm door to open and we just get pounded, it still may be a good year just a really short year.

ya it's fucked...even up here in canada we're not getting any snow either...mountains are all good, but in the local cities there is slim to no snow when usually we have like 6 feet easy in a day or 2

I'm tired of waiting. I'm headed to Kirkwood on Sunday and will just make the best of the situation. I have to pick up my season pass anyway.
