Just went to Mammoth this past weekend. This is my first season really boarding so my exp is pretty limited. But from what I experienced it def wasn't bad at all. I think they got some fresh snow this week too.

Heading up tomorrow afternoon for presidents day weekend.. Hopefully the 30%rain on sat doesnt happen.. Anyone know where I can snag some discount lift tickets? Or if they have a military discount?

Pretty sure everywhere is blacked out this weekend due to the holiday weekend. You might get lucky with a military discount though...I'd give them a call. Have fun up there.

So glad I went.. Got a $99 lift ticket for $63 with a military discount, and there were still stashes to be had in the trees on saturday!

Nice savings! I didn't make the trip up due to work, but I heard it was the best conditions so far this year (at least if you weren't actually there when it's snowing)

I just got back last night. AWESOME weekend!!!!!! Spent a lot of time on the backside and in the trees over by Ch 9.

End of march is long way to go....I'd wait and see if they get more snow. IF the the weather stays warm and they don't get more snow....

which is not an option. there will be more snow. There has to be.

edit: yes, this was the best it's been all season. I've probably got at least 25 days up there this season, I've lost track. and Monday-Tuesday were fantastic. Tons of fresh pow off chair 14 and 9 in the trees.

I was up there for the storm in November this weekend was way better. I boarded at June on Sunday and Mammoth Mon-Tue.
