What part of the Bay are you from KWR? 6 hrs to kwood is a snails pace specially with the roads the way they are. Heres what you missed Friday. Snow stayed soft all day, coverage was getting a little low as they hadnt blown in a couple days. They have resumed blowing since.

6 hours round trip...from Pleasanton. Atually my record is 2:45 driving back. ARGH! that's the top of 6?

Looks like Winter starts the 18th? I hope it dumps drunk snowmen for 72 hours straight and I get stuck there saturday

I drove from San Jose to Kirkwood on Sunday. Took 3 hrs 20 min in the morning, and like 4 hours on the way back. That was my first time driving 7+ hours on top of a full day of boarding. It's not an easy thing to do. I think I'll take one of the bus services next time.

It's a bit longer from SJ...and yes it's pretty tiring. I plan to stay at the RockStar lodge when I can...I'll dpo it any time for a good day...but with this conditions...not yet.

Yeah, I'm a fan of this website. I also read the Northstar Weather Blog. It usually says similar things to the Tahoe Weather Discussion only simplified. Usually updated every couple days. Hopefully these weather patterns mean feet and feet of snow over the next few weeks.
