Planned this trip a few months ago so we chose to make the best of it...despite the lack of snow. Stayed at Plumpjack inn (great hotel/bar) at Squaw base so we were close to several resorts.

We hit up Alpine, Boreal, and Squaw (obviously). Alpine and Squaw dialed up the snow guns so we had some decent runs. Squaw was our favorite of the bunch, as they had longer trails but got a bit icy towards closing time. Boreal was simply cheap fun if you're interested in park. Lots of features and a small park for newb's. The talk of the week was Northstar for top to bottom runs...but we didn't make it up there.

A tip we discovered...if you purchase 10 or more gallons at certain Shell gas stations, you get a buy one get one free lift tix at certain mountains.
