I saw a few tahoe mountains opened in the last week or two, and I'm wondering which ones might be the least worst to try out this early. I have some time off, and my wife doesn't mind if I want to escape the thxgiving holiday inlaw gathering for some snow.
Looks like it might start dumping this weekend and maybe go all next week also......I hope... |

I ended up making the 3.5hr drive down to mammoth because they had so much terrain open, and I'm glad I did. It was my first time to Mammoth, and thanksgiving day was the sickest November day ever. Chair 23 and the backside.... I will be back.

There's a big storm coming in later this week that's suppose to drop a couple feet at the higher elevations. If it's not too windy Heavenly and Kirkwood should be good this weekend. (Tahoe Weather Discussion - No Hype Lake Tahoe Weather these guys are usually pretty accurate with their predictions).
