i think both these specimens need to
attack their launch pads with considerably more
aggression!
both need to approach more crouched down in their stance but also more relaxed, but with the clear intention of popping an olly off their launch ramp of choice.
the one who landed on his belly, would seem to have a bit of apprehension, but that is all part of the fun and the learning curve; however, his rearward weight bias didn't occur until the toe edge dug in on landing.
i recommend positive visualisation. basically he landed with the expectation to crash. and so before even giving himself the chance to ride it out clean, he was already leaning forwards, with hands out stretched ready to break his fall.
MPD, get your boy to relax and imagine himself pulling off the perfect jump before he starts his run in. i guarantee results! now rub my belly!
