Default Getting your butt low during toeside turn?

Hey. I'm a beginner. When I toeside turn, I sometimes worry that my legs are almost straight. Especially my back leg. How do you get your weight (butt) low while still keeping a toe-side edge?

Knees bent(not squating) lead with your front shoulder(lean your front shoulder over your front foot)slightly. And lean into the mountain(if steep)but not to much where you'll loose your balance.Hope that helps.

Flex at the ankles and keep the knees bent. Ride with your weight centered between the bindings and as you go to initiate the turn, shift it toward the front foot from a 50/50 position to about a 60/40. Rotate your upper body to place your leading shoulder over the toed edge and that will help add force to the front knee to pressure the toe edge with the front foot to start the turn. The higher the speed, the more you will flex ankles, knees and hips to "lean" into the turn. Do not overly bend at the waist to lean your upper body to the inside of the turn, use ankles and knees. Once the turn is fully established, follow through with the rear foot to bring the board up on edge.

A tip that my friend gave me when we were setting up my stance/width for the bindings, is you want to be able to squat down without your butt extending back too much. I.E. a wide enough stance so that when you squat down, you're not moving your center of gravity OUT, but rather just lower it on the same axis....roughly. (he didn't explain it in those words)

ok I'm sorry. i no this isn't the "right" forum for this

he's right, when adjusting your bindings you should put the toe edge up against a wall, then stand on board where your bindings might be, then with your feet not moving bend our kneed till they touch the wall(isn't far is it) and when your going down o hill your knees should never bend farther than they are now, so adjust you bindings so you can easily do this(Also very important to lkeep you back parallel with wall or perpendicular to ground, all your doing is lowering your body using you quads and all your weight is put on them, not your knees)
