If you are making complete turns, the easiest way to get up is toesdie. Face up the mountain and get up on your toe edge. As for heelside, a couple of tips. First, really dig that edge into the snow; chop, dig, slide, whatever you can to get the heel edge locked down into the snow. Second, wedge the board intot he snow so that it is pretty high up on it`s heel edge so you won`t slip down the hill straight away. Slide yourself as close to your board as you can by "walking" on your hands. Push yourself up with one and and outstretch the other in front as a counterweight. If you can reach the toe edge of your board with your front hand, this helps a lot in pulling yourself up. From here it is a matter of learning balance. Use your upper body as a counterweight and shift it as needed to prevent falling backwards. Keep ankles, kness and hips flexed.
