Default Did my first 5 last night.

I was stoked. I have been working on 3`s everytime I go ride and last night, I got the courage up enough to try for a 3 off an actual jump in the park. Obviously, it was a small intermediate jump with a small 10 foot table, so it was`nt anything big. The first one, I had to butter the last 45 degrees or so after landing. The second pass, I put a little more energy into it and also increased my speed for maore air time to complete the spin prior to landing. Well, I overdid it and what I actually did was a decent 540! I even landed it and rode out switch without eating shit.

Sometimes it`s the way with snowboarding; you do something on accident and get it down. What I was surprised at is how easy it was to go from a 3 to 5 with just a little more energy, more speed and a slightly harder carve into the launch. I am not a big freestyle guy so this was real stoke for me to do for the first time ever..

Nice! Now the trick is to do them whenever you want hehe. It's been like a week and a half since I've been out (it's killing me) and did my first 180s. Those really take alot of energy being a noob and all. Can't wait to work on em soon and move on.

Good job buddy, I can't get past doing 180s

and even at that, i ride into the jump switch and land regular, cuz I need more practice landing goofy... the problem I'm finding is that the hills i go to don't have enough small and intermediate jumps, everything has atleast a 20 ft. table ...
