Should I worry about renting a 4x4 in May in MT.hood, the way things are going it may be still snowing by then.
I doubt it will be an issue by then. I have a 2WD Ranger and have been having no trouble even with the fresh snow. ODOT has been real good about plowing and sanding.
I just bought a new board, my first new board. What do i need to do to it do make it season ready in terms of edges and waxing, will it need to waxed and detuned or what?
If you have`nt ridden it, the factory wax will be fine for storage. Come fall, detune the tip and tail and put a fesh coat of wax on it and youre all set.
It's depressing though. I just put the last coat of wax on both my boards and put them up for the year; I almost shed a tear.
I know what you mean. I keep telling myself I am done for the year but continue to find ways to get "one more ride" in. I think I have ridden one last time 3 times now! I know the inevitable is coming so I need to get ready for withdrawals.
Technically You Never Have to Put on That Last Wax

If you are deadset on snowboarding for the duration of your life than travel to places that have snow during the summer/ their winter. You will never have to stick on that last wax. Unfortunatley, not all of us have hundred dollar bills falling out our pockets every second so we must bear with the seasons. O me miseram!
