well in that case i recomend a balance board
old deck + 2L bottle of water = houres of fun

I spend about 45 mins a day on an indo balance board, and then try to get out on my ripstick caster board 3 times a week or more. There are a bunch of "tricks" you can do on a balance board. youtube it an check it out.

I'm a cruiser on the snow, so I'm just getting in the gym doing lots of balance and leg workouts on the jelly half domes to get my tendons and muscles readys for the winter.
I'm also going to yoga which has really helped my back and knees from old injuries.
I think just being in standing shape when the season hits will help.
I like the idea of a balance board...might have to look into that.
