I am a beginner/intermediate boarder but I have only rode regular since I learned. Yesterday I tried riding goofy and caught an edge in a couple seconds. I won't be able to go to a mountain for a couple weeks probably and was wonder if anyone had any tips, drills, or workouts to do off-mountain while I wait.
Grab a skateboard and hit the sidewalks if you don;t have snow...otherwise...basement or garage if large enough. It won't be identical, but it will help you get over the initial awkward feel.
Don't get frustrated on the slopes...just keep giving it a go...it will come.
