be dynamic. staying bouncy on the board. imagine you are jumping on your heels and toes back and forth very fast.

box jumps in the gym. loose knees on the hill. learning how to weight and un-weight while your riding.

You must really lean your body in the turns, dig in, lean forward and roll forward into the turns while digging.
It is difficult to explain.
You will gain speed as much in the turn and coming out of it.

My advice would be for you to learn like I did.
1-Learn how, full control of your board.
2-Become fast while your body is as loose as possible.
3-Learn to ride with your hands close to you.
4-Start to really throw your weight around and moving your body forward and twisting it while digging in your edge.
5-Find yourself a beautiful young lady in your local resorts ski race team who is really really fast on skis.
6-Befriend her. (watch out for poles, she may beat you with them as opposed to talking to you)
7-Start making burning runs with her following her tracks.
8-Watch how she throws her weight over her skis.
9-Always wear a condom.

Bareback is the way to go... Just dont get lazy and pull out...

Listening to music might get you into that bouncy mood and sometimes can even improve your cOnfidence. I listen to "initial D" race music making me just want to go faster and harder (on the slopes)
