Default Tamedog/invert attempts. Loosen boots??

Hey guys,
Trying my first tamedogs and maybe a wildcat into some fresh pow. Almost get the rotation round for the tamedog but have mostly been digging the tail in.
Anyways, I was wondering whether you guys think its a good idea to loosen the boots off before trying or if I should keep them pretty tight?
I'm trying to minimise injury risk but now that I think about it, loose boots might snap something worse... I was going on the principle that a bit looser gives more room before something (my bones) have got to give.

Will post a video after this weekend with my massive failed attempts

I would not loosen your boots, it might make it less responsive and that would be bad. Maybe watch this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhvqu2XBvI0

Loosening your boots sounds like a silly idea to me.

Yeah, I'm not seeing what kind of advantage that loosening your boots would provide.

i was kind of imagining it would let my ankle move if I land awkwardly so as not to snap. I have pretty stiff boots. sounds like I was wrong!
