camp/clinic vs practicing on your own
Its been MONTHS since I've been on this forum. Mostly summer/spring hobbies have kicked it, kinda forgot about this place. Been going through snow withdrawal the last couple of days, and remembered about this place.
So some background prior the the question. I board about 15-20times a season, most of the group I go with are not as experienced as me. I was practicing BS 360s, flat ground 1s, and having a hard time buttering her bacon.....er buttering/the other opposite of buttering.....nose slide I think it was?
So I was wondering in order to progress, which would be more beneficial? A camp like Cascade/Windell, one day clinic like Burtons snowboard academy, or just practice on my own. Windell/Cascade is probably out of the question (I'm working full time and its quite expensive), so I was considering the clinic (still kinda $$$, but not bad compared to camp) but haven't really heard much about them (hoping to hear some reviews or whatever), and the practicing on my own (hard since I don't have anyone to critique me or give me tips/advice).
I'd like to hear some advice and/or reviews/experiences...
*CLIFF NOTES* WHATS MORE BENEFICIAL? PRACTICING ON MY OWN, OR ATTENDING A CAMP/CLINIC?
