Default Jibs

Hey guys.
I am an avid skateboarder, and just started snowboarding late last season. I picked it up pretty fast, and this year i would like to build a box or jib to pracice and learn tricks. could I just build it out of pressure treated wood and hot wax i? or is lexan/hdpe required?
also is 7 feet long enough? I don't need "park quality" I just want to practice some stuff before i hit the park

Just to put it in perspective, have a look at this vid from snowboarding.com (I hope this doesn't need you to be logged in there) jib-a-roo - Snowboarding Community

Obviously Jodie didn't spend a lot of $$$

If you want to actually construct something, the two cheapest ways I can think of are:

1. Rail: Buy a piece of PVC Pipe, proceed to screw it to some 2X4 studs built off the ground.
2. Box: Buy a 2 or 3 peices of Trex Decking and proceed to screw them into some 2X4 studs built off the ground.

Here's my setup, obviously this took some time and effort, even though it was free since all the materials came from my property.
