how often should i sand edges of rust? i usually do it after each ride. also is tuning and detuning important?

yeah ive just been throwing my wet board in the bag after riding so i guess that's the problem. i only recently started drying it before i put it in.

I always bring it in and wipe it down. I never have any rust. If you want to be lazy grab some gulf wax aka parafin wax and run it down your edges at the end of the day. It will wipe away the water and put a coat of wax on to seal the metal. Also good for protection from road salt if you use a roof rack.
