Hey all! Just went up to the mountain for the first time this season and spent the trip relearning how to snowboard (using forward foot to turn instead of ruddering). I have to say, all the help I received here was spot on and by the end of the two day trip, I will turning with my forward foot exclusively and you can really feel how natural it is supposed to be. The control is amazing. Just want to thank everyone who helped me and for snowolf putting those vids together. THANKS!

Yea it was really fun. My forward calf got pretty tired but that is probably because I am not used to using it. Would you recommend getting some private instruction next time just to iron out any other problems I may have?

Thanks! Yea, that makes sense. We were going down a few blacks this past weekend and I was doing fine besides feeling slightly out of control on the steep sections but I think that had to do with the steep section having a thin layer of powder on top of ice. I just need to dig more and do it more I think.
