Default easier to spin with no helmet?

I bought a helmet few years ago because i got hurt and jumps scared the shit out of me for a while. The other day i was spinning 3's all day on any small jump, and wondered. Is it easier for you to spin with no helmet? Im not a pro but, in all pro videos, i never see anyone wearing a helmet. Sometimes i feel restricted to my pre spin set up because of it.

thought opinions?

Somehow I doubt the pros go without a helmet for that specific reason.

Spinning on your head is probably easier with a helmet.

Why would it be easier to spin without a helmet? The reason why you don't see very many pro's wearing helmets is the same reason you don't see very many street skaters wearing helmets. It's called vanity and peer pressure, no one wants to be the dork with the helmet.

If anything a helmet is going to help you spin because when you hit your head practicing, you won't be out cold and will be able to keep going at it.

Why do people even discuss this, just wear the darn thing, it could save your life or ability to walk why turn down a proven piece of safety gear like it? If the weight of a helmet is too much you need to hit the gym son..
You won't do it.
