Impossible Snowboard Trick is Today's BIG Thing - JAN 11, 2011
Best trick ever ^^ ... of the day at least Actual question: when ollieing, do you pull your front leg up first then your back leg to accomplish the hop, or do you lean back and sorta jump off your back foot? (My question is basically do you lean back to start an ollie, or remain centered and do it with feet rather than weight?) |

little bit of both. the whole pint of an ollie is to use the board's "pop" to your advantage. you need to get as much flex going on in the tail so that when you jump up the board will push up for you (a good way to think of it is to imagine the boards tail as a spring, the more you flex it, the more it will pop.) the easiest way to do this is to just lean back, but if you wanna get alot of pop you gotta pull up with your front foot so the tail is even more flexed. hope that helped
