help with spinning please.

whats easier, spinning frontside or backside? ive never tried backside yet and i heard its much easier. i can spin fs 1's and occasionally a fs 3. im working on 3's tho and its really hard spinning frontside. HELP!

its personal pref. really.. You will soon learn some jumps are better for each spin. If your regular it may be easier to spin backside on a jump that is angled skiers right and frontside on jumps to skiers left.

That said, I tell all my buddies that are trying to get into spins the same thing:

"Learn to ride switch well... its a much more important skill and will get you further in snowboarding and make learning spins far easier when you are comfortable riding your board both ways."

In my personal preference I like back 1's 3's and 5's. I just find the prewind to be easier, but like bcasey said. LEARN SWITCH.

For me is Frontisde (I'm regular). Can spin fs 3 but just bs 1. Any tips for improving rotated bs? Get counter rotated on lock but cant get right feeling for rotated..

I think it's easier to spin backside than it is frontside. Sometimes spinning frontside, I will get lazy and stop after 90 degrees if I'm doing a 180. When spinning backside, I always get the 180 around even if the landing is blind.
