Coming out of a boardslide
So I am an second year avid snowboarder. I go out about 3 times a week. I just started doing boxes this week and I have the 50-50 down pretty good. However everytime I do a boardslide I can't seem to turn myself back around at the end. Any tips? I am doing it frontside.

Rotate your upper body as you're locking on. You don't need much.
Rotate your shoulders in direction of the spin; look over your right shoulder with your ass pointing towards the end of the box/rail. As you near the end of the feature give yourself a little pop and turn your head & shoulders back to the left so your left shoulder is facing forward down-hill. This rotation should pull your legs around to your normal forward stance. |
snowboard addiction has great way of showing and explaining counter rotation. their free video showed me how to FS board just do the opposite of this video for a BS board YouTube - Snowboard Trick Tip: World's Best Frontboard Tutorial
