Default BS spins off of lipped jumps.

Hey

I can spin back 180's every time flatground and off of straight jumps, but whenever I try them off of the jumps more transition (almost like a small, mellow quarterpipe) I get thrown off axis and turn sideways in the air. my FS spins are good of these jumps, but I always land on my stomach when attemping BS spins. any tips?

Make sure your tiny pre-wind for this involves the same rotation as flat ground. It seems you are throwing your arms down instead of straight across your body. Don't try to turn your head and spot the landing either, stare at the knuckle or the ramp to get the idea of how you need to land. Goodluck with them

I hate jumps like this. The G-force coming in is scary. But it helps to be conscious of the apex of the jump. Hit it a few times to get the feel of the apex and do a little shifty or grab at the top. Once you get that feeling down it'll help with back 180s. Try to time the apex half way through your 180...so at 90 then be at the top of your air time...complete the other 90 on the way down. I pretty much bs 180 every jump as a warm up to bigger spins.

Solid advice Extremo.
