Default Rock to fakie?

I think I have done this on a few features with mellow angles before. But last night I tried to do this trick on a wall ride in the park, and I just kept slammin my body into the wall. I tried to go with some decent speed and also lift my nose really high (enough to nose grab) before the wall, but i just have no vertical movement at all. In the end I noticed that the wall has a really bizarre angle, like about 70 to 80 degrees to the ground. Is it possible to do rock to fakie on this or is it meant to be ridden from the side?

If it has a 70-80 degree angle to the ground it is very hard to go up. The only way you would be able to rock to fakie it is if you can get enough pop to get to the top without riding up the wall.
