I did a few backside 3s off 10' kickers today. felt amazing to land them for the first time.
There is a problem though (i think). if i did not have an initial 90 degree turn coming off the lip of the jump, i would never land. So i actually only did a 270 in the air. How can i change what im doing right now to coming off the lip straight and doing a full 360 in the air? cliffs: im initiating spin rotation before takeoff, how can i learn to come off the lip straight without under rotating? I would say counter-rotate a little more, pop a little harder with both feet on the lip, keep your chin pressed to your shoulder while spinning to keep momentum, and/or compact yourself a little more with a grab?

ya but for now just stick with what your doing and once you have that on lock then attempt spinning in the air. i try to spin off whale tails but u cant begin to rotate on the waxed boards and it feels really weird and difficult. but ya, basically what they said ^
