Camp Of Champions? - Snowboarding Forum

Camp Of Champions? I am going to be going there next summer for the first time. I never went to any kinda camp when I was younger (I will be 16 when I got btw)How is the camp? How is the coaching? Is it really as good as they say? My friend went to High Cascade this past summer and said it was awesome. Just wondering if anyone has ever gone and if its truly as awesome as it seems. Either way im STOKED to go riding there.

Im going for CAMP A Snowboarding this summer. Its going to be my first time too.

If anyone has any info on what its like, that would be great.

But seriously enjoy the camps fellas, I'd go but I feel like I'd be the only one old enough to be able to drink.. Defintiely got into the sport too late for camps but let us know how it goes.

Pretty much all of the camps have adult camps these days. You're never to old for camp.

Sent my daughter to Windells 3 summers for 1 week..age 13 & 14 were riding & 15 was skiing. But only going 1 week has limited benefit it would be better to go for a month or the entire summer. Camps are great and she had tons of fun and made friends that she still gets to ride/ski with ocassionally.

However my middle son worked/lived at the hill and now the daughter is a ski instructor last year age 16 and this season; and they improved dramatically...way more than being at camp for a week. Son said its like being at a camp but you just work few hours a day.

Camp is good for park stuff but living or working on a hill would be better for big mtn stuff. Though kind of depends on if you are willing to step up push yourself, ride with others who are way better and just putting in a good number of days...said daughter just did day 32 this season and has become way addicted to back country.
