Sketchy 270's
 

I have been progressing a lot this year, but I'm having trouble nailing 270's onto and off of rails and boxes. I can spin it well enough, its just that I have trouble initiating the spin when I'm in boardslide on the rail. Also, I tend to edge out when I 270 onto a rail (I land it like 30% of the time). Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could get them down, and hopefully make them less sketch?

I am a beginner park rider through and through. But, how much forward lead do you have. I burton cartel and ride at 3 to 4 (aggressive). I found that when I decrease the forward lean I have more mobility on boxes/rails.
