Help With Learning Tricks

Hey guys,
So I've been snowboarding for 3 or 4 years now, and I love it. At this point, I am really comfortable riding slopes of almost any difficulty. I have done a little bit of playing with switch, and I have started playing with small jumps. Recently, I have been interested in trying to get some basic tricks under my belt. The last time I went out, I tried a few 180s and, though I fell a few times, had some fun. I guess what I am wondering is what are the important tricks I should try to learn. I'd love to have a couple basic ones down by the time March rolls around. If I can get some 180s, should I go ahead and try 360s? I just don't know what tricks are easier than others, and which ones I should start with. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
-Diego

Hey Diego,
Are you looking for more "jumpy" tricks, Feature tricks, or a bit of both?

Mostly jumping ones. I've never been a fan of rails or boxes.

So I'm no cro-reps, but just from what you have stated here are some things to work on and there is a ton of practice and progression you can get:

-there are four 180s, get good at all of them, theres 2 in every 360
1. frontside 180
2. backside 180
3. switch frontside 180
4. switch backside 180

-get good at switch

the second half of a frontside 360 is a switch backside 180.
