Default Quick mogul tip

Solitude last Sunday was pretty much all moguls (not much of an exaggeration) so it gave me a chance to really work on that aspect of my riding. I happened to pass by a father and son, both on skis, approaching the next slope of moguls (this was on a blue run on the Eagle chair, for those interested). The father says to the son, "The most important thing with moguls is to look ahead to where you want to go, and not down at your skis".

That was kind of an "Ah ha" moment for me. Before, I had just kind of been "attacking" the moguls, going in between them when possible, riding right over them other times, and in general, just "reacting" to the terrain as it came at me. Once I started looking ahead, I was able to plan where I was going to go and what turns I was going to make. I was able to avoid big bumps and to know when I could gather a little speed and when I needed quick turns. It resulted in drastically less falls and me feeling a lot more like a badass .

Just thought I'd share with anyone who's interested.
