I for some reason cannot grab and 360 in the same space that I can a normal 360. I did them the other day on about a ten foot jump. I can get the rotation with the grab if I go bigger, but I am already landing on the bottom of the landing. There is another jump but it's smaller. I have heard quite a bit that it is easier to grab and spin if you grab after the first 180, but on a 360 it's kinda pointless. Is this just something that isn't really possible for me or what am I doing wrong. I am looking over my shoulder and still am prewindinng.
By the way I am goofy and spinning backside.

Pop off the lip more. If you actively pop, the board pretty much comes into your hand for a grab on any sized air. Physics will do the work for you. Now picking where to grab and tweaking it, that's up to you. There is where trampboarding can be good practice when you can't make it to the mountain or during the summer.
