Best books/videos about Backcountry Wisdom - Snowboarding Forum

I know there are special courses and camps to learn & put this stuff in practice, but i'm wondering if someone knows any usefull and informative books or vids about everything backcountry, off piste & on mountain (how to's, snow conditions, regonizing dangers, etc etc..)

Definitely gonna try to find those books you mentioned, I'd love to come on your splitboard tour unfortunately i live in the Netherlands! and don't have a splitboard so i'll keep on dreaming and wish ou the best of luck with your training program!

Agreed! Finished a first read of this about a month ago, has some really good info. Definitely worth a few follow up reads as well. Still need to get my hands on the Staying Alive in Avalanche Terrain.
