broke my helmet, help me with this
So yesterday was riding at around 3:30pm, very uncear condition, difficult to see the terrain, lots aand lots of little snow hills.
Me: 37yo, hadn't snowboarded for a very long time, overall this is my fourth or fifth week (in 4 years) spent on the board.
Board: k2 podium.
So i was going pretty fast, trying to turn every time the terrain allowed me.
I was transitioning from frontside to backside, but as soon as i charged my heel hedge the board hit one of those snow hills, and i fell very vvery hard on my back (a bit on the side lucky me) and i also hit my head.
My right ass is sore, and i discovered my Red helmet has broken in the front although i hit on the back.
So: what is the right technique to manage those little hills? I know you have to use your legs but what do you have to do when you set your turn and suddenly the terrain changes?
Thanks in advance
Any advice on helmet replacement is also apppreciated. Ii was thinking of going Red again, but i am unawere of any other brand.
