Just wanted to know if its me or the snowboard , im riding albi 157, im 6'0 and 200lbs (yeah i know i need a 160+) but everytime i ride my board feels diffrent, Im riding goofy foot, my front leg is around 19+ and my left leg is around 9- , im getting alot of chatter or movement in my back leg , like i cant carve on my toes this weekend , but ive been able to carve perfectly, my left leg just feels like its going to fish tale from under me when im riding , when im carving at a higher speed, i have to use more body momentum than normal , like i almost have to push or throw my back leg out instead of a leaning or rocking motion like i normally do . im able to hit jumps and hit boxes but my cofindence has gone down due to me not being able to control my board, im also in the midwest , illinois and wisconsin area, so i hope its not due to snow conditions as well , can any one help me

What's your waist width set at? All my boards are perfect twin shaped, but I've found in my short time riding that unless I have my feet centred (the same in from both ends) the board likes to drift around and feels a little chattery. Just throwing it out there.
I'm a little bigger than you and ride about 12/-12 on angles as well. I normally ride 162w but just started on a 158w and it's fine. The particular board has something to do with it as well. Last edited by destroy; 02-18-2013 at 12:25 PM. |
